Before You Rent Your Skis

If you’ve never skied before what are you waiting for? Get out of the house, set your Home Security ADT alarm and get on the slopesthe fun’s as easy as renting a pair and paying the pass. Here are a few things to remember before you approach the ski rental booth, however.
Know Your Size: Make sure you know what size you are before you get to the front. Take your shoe size and add one, generally, to get a good feel for what size ski boots to rent out.
Bring Socks: And lots of them. Make sure you bring a thick pair of socks to start with and leave another dry pair in your locker while you ski. No matter how hard you try your feet are going to get wet and that’s what’s going to make you feel colder than anything.
Don’t Lose Your Key: When you get a locker near the ski rental booth don’t lose that key! It’s more common than you’d think but those lockers are a hassle to open and you’ll be charged a surcharge, too.
